At Avacta Animal Health, allergy is our passion and allergy is what we do!
With allergy affecting up to 10-30% of dogs1,2, 10-20% of cats1,3 and 10-50% of horses1,4,5, our primary focus is to support veterinary professionals in successfully managing these cases, and help relieve animals of the often-distressing symptoms associated with allergic disease.
As an independent, UK laboratory, based in beautiful West Yorkshire, we are proud to have our own in-house Research and Development team on site. Their work is at the heart of our business. Using leading technologies and techniques, our highly experienced scientists collaborate industry-wide to advance allergy research and produce high performance allergy tests.
This focus enables us to deliver evidence-based solutions centred around the work-up and management of allergic disease, whilst keeping our customers and their patients at the centre of everything we do. We are driven by a desire to make a real-life difference to the health and welfare of animals, with our team including a number of veterinary surgeons and veterinary nurses. We also work in partnership with allergy experts and other veterinary professionals, enabling us to offer unrivalled service with exceptional technical support and a tailored, personal approach.
