Mag Appoints Peter Rigby To The Group’S Board

04 July 2017 The Mark Allen Group (MAG) today announces the appointment of Peter Rigby as a non-executive director of the company. Peter is a former Chief Executive Director and Executive Chairman of the media company, Informa, serving in those capacities from 1988 till 2013. Under his 25 year reign, Informa grew from a turnover of £50 million to £1.2 billion and was on the verge of becoming a FTSE 100 company, which it subsequently became. Chairman Mark Allen said: "We are delighted that Peter is joining us as a non-exec. Peter is a class act who steered Informa to extraordinary success. He is joining us at a relatively similar time in our cycle as to when he was appointed CEO. Peter's appointment is indicative of our desire to keep on growing and to become a major force in publishing and exhibitions".
